If it’s number 1 they make doggie diapers that fit males too. My old guy got this way toward the end and they made a big difference. Good luck, it’s a very challenging stage especially when you love them so much!!
I love my dog more than I can put into words. He's getting up there in years and has been having a lot of accidents. It's been hell.
This morning, I woke up to a mess that took nearly two full hours to clean. I washed my hands so many times that my fingertips were burning. I had to shower and change clothes three separate times and still felt filthy the entire time. I can't shake the discomfort and my house never feels clean enough to actually be clean. It's such an emotionally taxing, unpleasant way to start the day and it makes me not want to get out of bed sometimes.
The boy has had very recent vet visits and his accidents aren't causing him any pain (other than the stress that he absorbs from me being stressed out while I'm cleaning). I'm doing everything I can to give my buddy a good, happy life and give us both a clean, comfortable home, but I'm losing my mind right now. If you're in a similar spot, I feel you and I'm sorry.
