So many questions
My son is 8 and has Show & Tell every Friday. Last night he was carrying around a little green glass vial and told me it was “slime.” I figured, whatever, kids are weird.
Apparently I should have asked one follow-up question.
About 10:15 this morning I get a phone call from the school. The teacher says, “We had a bit of an incident with your son’s Show & Tell item.” She explains that when my son proudly presented the vial, she asked to inspect it. Unfortunately she fumbled it. The vial shattered. Within seconds the entire classroom vaporized into a cloud of green mist. The janitor reportedly looked through the window, sighed, and muttered, “Not again.” The principal has since informed me that the school handbook will now include a new rule specifically banning “chemical weapons stolen from 1996 action movies.” My son insists he thought it was just “movie slime.” The teacher has been posthumously nominated for Employee of the Month.
TL;DR: Thought my kid brought slime to Show & Tell. Turns out he somehow packed the green VX gas from The Rock. Teacher dropped it. Classroom achieved 100% attendance in the afterlife
