Please don’t. Someone did this to me once. Introduced me to his friend because we “both like cars.” Then we both felt obligated to talk about cars, when we really didn’t want to, and also felt alienated from everyone around us because nobody else gave a shit about cars. So we quickly stopped talking to each other and joined better conversations.
