  Face the unfortunate fact that it’s over. There’s a guy in Florida. Maybe she met him while she was there; maybe she used the death as an excuse to be away and see him. My guess is that she was texting him while you were sitting in the car together. Don’t be surprised if the tells you she needs to “take a break” from the relationship while she “figures out who she is” or “works on herself.” If she comes back from the break, it means things with Florida Man didn’t work out, and she’s willing to use you as a fallback until she finds someone else. I’m sorry this is happening to you. It sucks. Unfortunately this kind of thing, especially around age 20, is common. But, there’s nothing to be done about it.

    No I know it was an actual funeral bc her and her entire family went and they asked me to house sit when they were away

  Honestly, she needs counseling for her loss; that's a non-negotiable. Every time I've ever gone to the cinema, I arrive 30 minutes before, get the tickets, look at snacks, buy what we need, then chill in the theater and wait for the film to begin. You never shut down the conversation, and you guys could've kept talking about the family member she disliked while doing all that like normal people do. Normal couples, when shopping for groceries and stuff, don't just stop talking because they have to go in the store; they keep talking while they do their shopping. Seems she overreacted, maybe due to her grief or the drama at the funeral, but she can't hold that over you; you never stopped the conversation, but she decided to and blamed you for it and became closed and shut off. Again she is grieving and had a family spat, but she needs counseling. You were a bit too pushy with asking if she was going to break up with everything she is dealing with; she needs less stress, not more. Learn to 'give grace.' Dependent on how things go and if she attends counseling, it proceeds from there, but it looks like the death has her spiraling and questioning her every decision, and she may be lashing out a bit towards you due to not having a healthy way to express herself like a grief counselor. Try to be there for her, but I give you a 50/50 on if this lasts. She is going through a lot of stuff, questioning her life and not getting the support she needs. It is not a good combination or mindset to be in without seeking help services. Like I say, give her grace, try to get her into grief counseling, and reduce her stress as much as you can, but if things get worse, know that no amount of bailing can save a sinking ship.
