Currently working on a new home for my red knee tarantula. He’s just molted and needs a slightly bigger space. This is a 30x30x20 enclosure by Entoscapes, half filled with a 50/50 mix of arid earth and dry eco earth. I’m quite new to all this, so any feedback is welcomed - I’m in no rush to move him in until it’s just right!

IMO, Very nice looking spider and enclosure. Did they just have a molt? Their abdomen is looking a little small so you can push the prey a little on this one. Give it a couple crickets to munch on, then follow up with another in a few days, then continue small feedings weekly or twice a week until the abdomen is plump and about as wide as the carapace. Then you can reduce frequency of feeding.
Thank you! Yes he molted just under two weeks ago and having got a good look of his fangs yesterday I gave him his first post-molt meal this morning 🙂 need to fatten him back up again!!
