Post: Dire need of help. Or commiseration. I’m at my wits end with my child.
He’s 99% potty trained but no matter what I do, he will end up peeing in his seat a little.
Things I have tried (and continue doing): Making him sit on the toilet before we go anywhere, for at least a minute if he doesn’t immediately pee.
Remind him not to pee in the car seat. Remind him he gets a special treat if and only if he doesn’t pee in the car on the way to destination and on the way back.
It’s been like 2-3 months of this. Sometimes he doesn’t pee and he gets all the confirmations of that being the correct thing.
