I’m looking for the smallest shoulder bag I can get away with for these two. I’m considering the Domke f2, but haven’t been able to go check it out anywhere and am afraid it’s a bit too small. I do mostly 2-4 hour walks in the city when I shoot. Any suggestions are appreciated! Many thanks.

Mamiya is a CHONKER. I don't know if any modern type bags will fit that alone, much less along with the M5. I would probably suggest a large camera cube and just put that in a comfy large tote/shoulder bag. I'm looking on picking up a TLR and likely going that route.
Maybe not a bad idea - I’m sure with some dividers and Velcro I could even get a bit more reinforcement. I love the c33, and I can actually fit it in my Ona sling, but it’s sketchy.
I prefer a backpack when I carry my RB67!
Yeah, I have a decent backpack! But it’s a few extra steps to pull it out. Might be the best way.
The Mamiya is great but I’ve given up on considering it for travel. I have a Yashica D/ Rolleiflex and they’re a game changer.
Same, I love my C33 but the Rolleiflex 3.5a I got is just so much smaller. It's like a street photography point and shoot in comparison.

I use a Hex ranger DSLR sling for my Mamiya MF and a Leica M4 or small digital body. It might me able to accommodate your bodies.
I managed to fit a MAT 124G and my M5 on the following bags: Compagnon Elements Sling 7L and the Wotancraft Pilot 7L. Decent fits but I'm pretty sure the C33 is a bit bigger. I'm been eyeing to get a bigger bag like the Alpaka Flight Satchel and use camera inserts or the Wotancraft Pilot 10L

I picked up a small padded lunchbag for my C3 when I owned one. It worked well, and kept my camera cooler when it was hot out.
You sure you want to carry that around every day?
Check out WotanCraft bags. Best there is imo. Functionality, style, quality, it's all there. They are a tad expensive though. Not as bad as like Billingham, but not cheap.

Mannnn I have an 18L brevite jumper and the c330 plus two other bodies fit just fine. It ain’t all that bad
I have that same bag! But I’d love to get a shoulder bag. I use the brevite for jobs and traveling and it’s great.
Domke. My go to, they’re incredibly durable and customizable. Plus they don’t scream “steal me, I’m a camera bag”.
The issue is finding a domke in the right size for these two cause it’s my go to also - not sure if you’re familiar with the cameras, but think the f2 would fit them?

Would definitely fit both with some room to spare. Nothing but praise for that bag. Get the V2.0 if you can. Infinitely better features than the original, which is also no slouch.
Find a vintage Domke. Mines 45 years old and still does the job.
Yeah, ideally I want an F2 or even F10. Hoping the F2 will fit these cameras comfortably and am hearing it would from others on the thread.
Oh man.... If the camera is in a bag, are you carrying it or is it them Luggage? The M5 is a gem. That Mamiya was never intended to be a "carry".... it's a System TLR intended for tripod. (sure you can "carry" it). If you want a 66 to carry find a Rollei, Japanese TLR, or a nice folder.
I just love the glass on these mamiyas so much, and the weight/bulk doesn’t really bother me. I’m deep into the system and realized I really like it for breaking up the rhythm when I’m out. One day maybe I’ll make the jump to a Rollie.

I used all over hiking trails a lowepro 15L backpack with a built in "pop-over" rain cover for my Mamiya C330F. It IS a big camera body, but the lenses aren't *too* big. It fit the body with plain prism viewfinder and 55mm or 80mm lens attached, and the 135mm, 180mm and whichever of two shorter lenses wasn't attached. I also fit the waist level hood finder, the paraminder tripod attachment, and the hoods all in this backpack. HOWEVER Hex Ranger DSLR Bag (not the mini one) would work for shoulder bag. OR OG Mamiya C33 "everready" leather cases are easily found on ebay, sometimes brand new. Much easier than later C330/C330F/C330S cases. THAT would be best for your "drop cover and shoot" style you seem to be going for.

I was lucky to get a timbuk2 messenger bag in a for 50€ and I put two small camera cubes in it. Also as someone that owned several expensive backpacks in the 300-400€, I gotta say the timbuk2 bag doesn't feel inferior or cheap in comparison at all. Super happy with the purchase. Also bonus points for me since this setup doesn't look like a expensive camera bag at all and I feel a lot saver carrying this when I'm out at night carrying my M6...

Off topic but how are you using/ metering with the lightpix flash? I’ve been wanting to use mine more but don’t want to waste film figuring out my metering. Also you might want an Optech neck strap for the mamiya especially for daily use. My method isn’t specific by any stretch, and others probably have better advice, but I keep it at 1/2 and f8, sometimes f11 and use the white filter to soften things up. My subjects are usually 7-12 feet away and I get decent results with that. I basically only shoot on the street though.
