will it autoupdate or do i have to manually install latest version on windows?
If you're on 26.05+, you can also install this update using Tools > Check for Updates. The update feature in versions 25.07 to 25.09 cannot be used to update to this release. See https://forums.ankiweb.net/t/an-important-note-about-updating-to-26-05/70139
