You'll want the whole thing surveyed.. If one side is off, good chance both are.
Hey all :)
TLDR: Need to find out where our property boundary is, front yard, one side only.
Just curious.. We bought our house a few years ago. One side of our front yard has a fence between the two yards. On the other side is a hedge. On the other side of this hedge (neighbours side) is a tree, it was trimmed and now its quite bushy.
So! Our neighbours have recently told us that the tree is on our land and it needs to be trimmed. I'm not fussed about tree, but I want to know where our land finishes. If it is past the tree, I'm pulling those damn hedges out, putting a fence up and taking back our land that our neighbours have been using this whole time. It's not much land, but it's the principal of it now.
So, does anyone have any idea how much a surveryor costs? I will call around on Monday, but I'm curious. We just need that one part measured. It's maybe... 10 metres long Max.

Ours this year was $1k for a very similar request
