The Ashen OZ reimagines L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz as a dark, twisted fairy tale inspired by works like American McGee's Alice. Because of that, even Dorothy's beloved friend, the Scarecrow, becomes one of the first terrifying bosses players must face.
Of course, defeating him isn't the end of his story. If you can free him from his fate, he may eventually become one of Dorothy's closest soul-bound companions.
I'm also reimagined Yoop, the cannibal giant who appears only in Baum's original Oz books, as a monstrous chef lurking deep beneath the world of Oz.
How do you feel about turning familiar Oz characters, and even lesser-known figures from the original books - into boss fights? I'd luv to hear your thoughts!
