You do not want to camp in 60mph winds. Even if your tent survives you won’t be sleeping.
No, it definitely wouldn't be ideal. More than likely it won't be like that. To be clear, I have camped in 55mph sustained winds before. Just that tent was supplied by a guide, was like $1500 and weighed a ton. I'm simply increasing the storm worthiness of my setup and would like some suggestions from people who have used this tent in the far end of its capabilities successfully. It's never ideal to camp in extreme weather yet it happens.
