So, my friends (a trans guy) needs advice/info on straps for him and his bf.
He wants to know what straps are the best (especially for trans men) as well as harnesses that aren’t BDSMy because he said a lot of ones he’s look at are very BDSM like (his words not mine lol). This would also be his first time wearing one, so beginner friendly ones are appreciated (as is advice)
Also if there are any the would help with bottom dysphoria etc would really help!!
The one I bought from a local store (Brazilian company Pantynova) is pretty much like a nongendered underwear with a place for the dildo to poke out of. Haven't put it to action yet, but feels relatively comforfable, doesn't look "BDSM-y" and worked pretty fine on the solo test I gave it
The "BDSM-like" nature is a function thing, not just a style thing. Thoss are the ones are far comfier in my opinion, because usually what makes them "BDSM-like" is that they are very adjustable and thus full of buckles etc. They also allow for more open skin, which is generally desirable for sexy time and versatile if you want you leave existing underwear on. . But there are ones that are more like thick underwear, if that's really a dealbreaker. I suggest a strap that uses rings in the front with a way to swap out multiple different sized rings to allow for incorporating a variety of toys. And remember, if he intends to use it with multiple partners, he needs to get something that can be fully cleaned and sterilized between uses (both the dildo and the strap itself.)
