I think a daiquri with a splash of the apricot liqueur would be fun \-2 oz rum (either a full 2 oz of Probitas, or 1.5 oz Probitas and .5 oz Planteray OFTD) \-1 oz lime juice \-.5 oz simple syrup \-.25 oz apricot liquer All shaken and strained into a frozen coupe, garnished with a lime or, dare I say, a dried apricot?
Hotel Nacional Special From Charles H Baker Jr’s Gentleman’s guide 2oz rum (originally called for “gold Cuban”, I’d use Mt Gay) 1/2oz lime 2oz pineapple Bar spoon apricot liqueur I think it’s delicious as is, but you could certainly play with the proportions - probably cut down on pineapple, maybe up the apricot liqueur to 1/4oz.
