I had to do something like this at the playground. A random 2 year old was walking in front of a 10 year old on a swing. She was about to get annihilated on the down swing. As I swooped her up from behind and moved her out of the way, she began screaming crying because of the big man grabbing her. Felt good and bad at the same time. I questioned ever going back to the playground

Loose balance, hit his head on those escalators (especially if the escalators stop mid-way for some reasons). My kid used to go to a kindergarten where they had escalators and they had a whole system surrounding the kids using them. It went as far as forbidding us from putting any kicks with shoe laces just in case they get stuck.

TSA here in the US would not save the child. They would, instead, try to find the parent and immediately detain them while the child is still standing there.

Thought it was a ghost kid for a while before noticing the blur.
As a parent, that child was never going down that escalator. But that security guy doesn't have kids so he transformed into Spider-Man and tried anyway.
