Hey everyone first post here, I have been onebagging for over 15 years I catch budget airlines only eg Scoot, Airasia, Jetstar etc so need a bag that measures around that 56cm x36cmx 23cm, I am looking for a long lasting light backpack/duffle the options are mind boggling. I want something that I dont have to worry about or compress down to get through checkin. My main things i am looking for are some type of external pocket/s, lightweight, comfortable shoulder straps but not that essential as I dont do extreme hiking i might walk 1 or 2km s to my hotel and inside the airport. I have seen some amazing bags on sale at the moment my top picks that i am looking at and these are around $150 aud or under
Deuter 40l duffle pro (looks amazing although @ 1.2kg)
TNF 50l Base camp duffle (looks to large)
Rab 50l expedition kit bag (no external pockets)
Columbia Land Roamer 40l
Kathmandu Indus 50l duffle (dimensions and bag itself look to large)
For some reason the deuter looks perfect to me but only a few reviews around although very positive. I usually go on @ 18 day trips I usually leave with a total; of 6kg but usually returning I get close or just over over the 7kg limit. I think around the 45l is my sweetspot but I think I would be alright at 40L thanks in advance
