I usually listen to girly pop and folk btw
Let me explain. I don't hate Coldplay it just reminds me of a aesthetic I don't like and as much I want I can't get in much touch with the sound. It's his specific song I mean.
The lyrcs are really odd in the first verse. It looks "quality contaminated" but is still Coldplay like some feeling of skinny pants with white shirts and vaguely children's books narrations in American romance comedy movies when the dad tries to impress the woman's kids by reading a book and she gets all "hehehe, he's so funny" but it feels good anyways, it has buildup and atmosphere but yk? Then there's the "I hear Jerusalem bells a-ringing... I know saint Peter won't call my name" and then returns to idk, artsy history teacher helping the students make a song about french revolution for high school project. The Instrumental also feels like kayak pictures w filters.
Maybe a cover would help but the lyrics are still Coldplay flavoured though they're good.
Someone feels the same about a song?
