And honestly there's one big reason for it: There's no cheater OP buff to end the game for you. Baron buff is weak, Elder doesn't exist. I love it. You are so much more free to move around the map and play wherever you want to play. Ending the game becomes more interesting too, as you can't just snag a broken buff and push in with super OP minions that are impossible to clear out at a point.

Classic Baron is season 5 baron it isn’t even the right one, season 1-4 baron gave you insane stats that you could take and fight with
What a dumb take, sometimes Baron is literally just necessary because an enemy team can turtle and waveclear for 40 minutes and you can't do anything about. "Cheater OP buff" lmao. Pro games where a team just stalls on their nexus farming supers for 40 minutes were far and away the most boring and mind numbing to watch, the current game-ending buffs exist for a reason.

I played 1 game of classic and totally hated it. Item sucks, champion pool is too small, everything is too slow.

Its really not lmao. I played back then. I was hyped for this. But this ain't wow or osrs. Its very boring with the current champions and I dont think it will go far unless more are added quickly.
It IS really fine. The whole mode feels much slower. You earn your gold with a lesser tempo, miniions are stronger, you have to buy potions... The farming tempo is different, the minions aggro code is different. It really has a special vibe. Though I have to admit, that with todays game knowledge, there would be more and more OP setups later on in my opinion.
