I'm teaching a high school photography course, we're doing a mini project using everyday objects. Essentially the kids are going to experiment with different angles, lighting, composition, etc, by capturing multiple images of the same object/objects. I'm planning on using regular household objects (toothpaste, silverware, cups, remote, .. you get the picture).
I am hoping to connect this to a photographer, but I am not sure who to sue. Does anyone have ideas on photographers that mainly work with household objects?
On my list already is Shelley Horan, Barbara Iweins, and Pyanek - but I'm sure there are others!
peter fischli and david weiss did that whole quiet afternoon series with random stuff balanced on each other. not strictly photography but the still images from it hit that everyday object niche pretty hard also chema madoz is worth a look if you haven't come across his work yet
