They weren’t there before vacation. Didn’t notice them doing water changes Wednesday
Went to feed today and my smaller Bairds ratsnakes mouse was swarming with them before she found it.
She’s in a quarantine tank. Cage is stripped down, all the wood from it is soaking submerged in our tub and I’ve got ant poison down to kill them before I scoop all the substrate out (having been as bitten as I care to be getting the wood out). Then total clean out, new plants, new substrate, new everything.
This sucks so much. I’m going to have to go through all the other cages with a fine tooth comb too.
