I’ve been thinking about a fascinating concept and wanted to get the community's thoughts on it.
Is it physically possible for a human being to climb Mount Everest, or any other 8,000-meter peak, while on a strict water fast?
To my knowledge, I don't think anyone has ever attempted or successfully done this. But it makes me wonder: if someone actually managed to pull it off, what kind of scientific and physical breakthrough would that represent?
In terms of testing human endurance and pushing past our biological limits, how massive of an achievement would this be?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, especially from a physiological and metabolic standpoint!
